The promise of Susan G. Komen® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.  The Komen Charlotte Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, transportation and treatment support projects for the medically underserved in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today.
