Komen Charlotte funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, transportation, navigation and treatment support projects for the medically underserved in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today.

Community Grants

Community health grants are available for one year and on a fiscal cycle from April 1- March 31.

 

How to Apply for Community Health Grants:

*Applications are now open on GeMS – due Thursday, December 14, 2017 by 2:00 pm*

Step 1: Read over the 2018-19 Request for Application (RFA) and 2015 Community Profile Executive Summary, which you can download below.

Step 2: Register to begin using the Grants eManagement System (GeMS).  To access GeMS, click here.

Step 3: After you have registered and are approved, begin the application using GeMS.
