Susan G. Komen Charlotte is the local resource for women and men needing breast cancer screening, diagnostic and support services. Through annual events and individual contributions, Komen Charlotte raises funds that enable women to detect and survive breast cancer.
Seventy-five percent of all funds raised by Komen Charlotte stay in our 13-county service area to fund Komen Charlotte’s Resources and Healthcare Navigation Services program, education outreach programs, our Treatment Assistance Program, as well as breast health programs for women who would not otherwise have access to screening and treatment. Twenty-five percent of funds raised is contributed to the Susan G. Komen® Research Grants Program. Komen Charlotte and our dedicated advocates and fundraisers have raised more than $17 million in local breast health and breast cancer awareness projects in our area since 1997.
