Komen Charlotte’s Laugh for the Cure generates hundreds of laughs and thousands of dollars for community grants and breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
You’re invited to join Komen Charlotte on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square for the 18th annual Laugh for the Cure! Stay tuned for more information on tickets and the hilarious comedians we have lined up—you won’t want to miss this event. Mark your calendars now!
Since inception in 2002, Laugh for the Cure has raised over $1 million, thanks to the comprehensive efforts and support of volunteers, donors and event participants. Event founder Tammy Greyshock has made it her mission for the last 17 years to work and serve on behalf of individuals in need of critical breast health care. Tammy’s mother is a 31-year cancer survivor and has also had two aunts diagnosed with breast cancer, one of whom passed away in 2016 from the disease.
Join us to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. An estimated 252,710 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to occur among women in the U.S. during 2018. Your support of this event will continue to help us make a difference in the 13 counties we serve! (to see how funds raised through Komen Charlotte are being used click here).
So start making plans to attend this fun-filled evening, where laughter and devotion to an important cause will set the stage on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in the McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. See you there!
