Komen Charlotte’s Laugh for the Cure® is an event that generates hundreds of laughs and thousands of dollars toward investing in breakthrough research and community education to prevent and cure breast cancer.
You’re invited to join Komen Charlotte on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square for the 16th annual Laugh for the Cure! The evening will showcase the hilarious antics of Greg Morton, while providing food and fun for your friends, family or colleagues. Wait….it gets better! In addition to the amazing silent and live auction experiences, there will be a VIP party and Survivor reception to recognize and honor special guests.
Since its inception in 2002, through the comprehensive efforts and support of volunteers, donors and event participants, Laugh for the Cure® has raised over $1M. It’s founder, Tammy Greyshock has made it her mission for the last 16 years to work and serve on behalf of individuals in need of critical breast health care. Tammy’s mother is a 30-year cancer survivor and has also had two aunts diagnosed with breast cancer, one of whom passed away in 2016 from the disease.
Join us to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. An estimated 252,710 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to occur among women in the U.S. during 2017. Your support of this event will continue to help us make a difference in the 13 counties we serve! (to see how funds raised through Komen Charlotte are being used click here).
So start making plans to attend this fun-filled evening, where laughter and devotion to an important cause will set the stage on Thursday, March 29, 2017 in the McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. See you there!
